arcos Raw. Unedited. Heartfelt. It's like seeing someone beautiful without any makeup on, and they're more beautiful because nothing is hidden. Favorite track: Over Is Over.

Solace 01:37
Where is this solace to be found? The anaesthetic from which none come round Prescribed myself this lovely mound On this heaped pile of earth, I'll drag my plow Hurled headlong into the ground Laid down neatly like a bride's gown And interred myself in this dirt And exhumed myself from the world

Dead Bird 02:06

Untitled 03:45
I’m feeling the freeze Crawling again My poor limbs all Crying in vain It’s happening again It’s happening again My vision is sinking Darkness, take the reign I’m hearing things late at night And I’m seeing things off the corner of my eyes It’s happening again It’s happening again The medicine isn’t doing its job The effects checked out, titles swapped And my old demons are here again To remind me how mad I am instead It’s happening again It’s happening again

Over Is Over 03:26
Thanks but no thanks to hell Thanks but no thanks to heaven as well Elephant brought to its knees Nuclear proof cockroaches in deep freeze Cue balls knock each other randomly Reverse the tape and movement looks the same This illustrates the end of time: things happen but don't matter If "no never mind" does not appeal, where will I be forever? Because heaven without you is hell Give me the white light Give me the calm God's heart is a cold contracting cinder I know that over is over I know that over is over I know that over is over You know the best ways to grow colder Watch this house dilapidate and fall to pieces White ash gone the way of trilobites Thanks, no thanks, eternal life, what everlasting pleasure Watching this old house broken beamed, existence severed If Lethe strips you, where will I be? Give me the white light Give me the calm The power to know that over is over Give me the white light Give me the calm The power to know that over is over Give me the white light Give me the calm The power to know that over is

Sedated 02:15
I shouldn't have to be hanging from the ceiling For you to know how I'm feeling Why is it always so fucking complicated? I just want to be endlessly sedated
6.
Oh my son I saw you picking flowers in a field of riddles and bones stepping over boulders just to look beneath the tiny stones what did you find? was the truth too unkind? don't you wish you were blind when you see the kind of words you never wanted to read thrown across a canvas just to make your heart bleed oh my friend you were walking through the desert just as if you were the prodigal son your feet hit the end now they're kicking like you're tying to run what is the point? now you're souls out of joint and what disappointing end to a beautiful and promising start the words still pulling at the strings of your heart you took me to the mountain tops and you left me in the cold this field's a vacant lot riddles bought and riddles sold what sky could i hope to reach from here? would i ever be so bold?

ill always be a boy floating in the dead sea too pretentious to scream loud enough for anyone to hear me artificial light its moving and bending through the night My body it could've been inhabited by someone who could use it but it's been waaasted by me and i feel so, so guilty
8.
I've never seen the sky before today, My world's cut in two by the waves, Salt in my mouth and sweat in my eyes, Alone on this raft I float away, The sky is calm and so is the sea, But hours from now it may not be, I pray that the sun beat harsh on me, So I may die peacefully

Dry Air 01:33
Where is this solace to be found? The anaesthetic from which none come round Prescribed myself this lovely mound On this heaped pile of earth, I'll drag my plow Hurled headlong into the ground Laid down neatly like a bride's gown And interred myself in this dirt And exhumed myself from the world

Abyss (free) 03:24
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you. Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you. Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you. On the mountains of truth you can never climb in vain: either you will reach a point higher up today, or you will be training your powers so that you will be able to climb higher tomorrow. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you. Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you. Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man Ah, women. They make the highs higher and the lows more frequent. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you. Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man

about

This is a collection of phone recordings of songs composed by Alexander Robichaud using lyrics given to him by anonymous users on /mu/, 4chan's music board.

Throughout the year 2015, Alex created discussion threads on /mu/ in which he asked the users to simply give him original lyrics and that he would write a song for them using said lyrics within an hour or less. Alex composed more than 60 songs, many of which were very bad. The 11 songs included in 'Ghostwritings from the Internet' are the ones that got stuck in his head.

100% of these lyrics are written by anonymous users and have not been altered in any significant way. 100% of these songs were also composed and performed in an hour or less. All the songs were recorded on Alex's phone either in his room or in his garage.

The voice speaking in 3rd person right now is also Alex. He is only doing it because he think you're supposed to in BC album bios. iunno.

This album is dedicated to the users of /mu/ who are so wonderful.

(Thank you)
